Walking The Path

by S.I. Mitchell

“Understand that the right to choose your own path is a sacred privilege. Use it. Dwell in possibility.” ~ Oprah Winfrey

Walking The Path in San Luis Obispo county

The magic of life begins when you understand this:

“The spiritual path – is simply the journey of living our lives. Everyone is on a spiritual path; most people just don’t know it.” ~ Marianne Williamson

When you come to the realization that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, life can get interesting. It can allow you to accept this life and all it gives you as a gift to grow and evolve as a spiritual being.

You are here to grow and to help others. In forgetting oneself through service to others you are living the dream.

When you are challenged with life’s struggles, you are being given an opportunity to grow. To find understanding, to find the meaning behind it. It’s OK…accept life, embrace life…it is a wonderful opportunity.

When good things happen it’s easy to rejoice and be happy. Enjoy these moments fully. Remember each smile of your child, enjoy every time you hold your spouses hand…enjoy every chat you have with your parent and good friend. Life happens, life changes…swim in the present.

Do not hold too tightly to the past. Do not worry about the future.
As it has been said: there a reason why now is called the present. :)

Ok, so during these times, I have a wish.

I wish and challenge each of you to be tenacious in your love and compassion.

For those struggling in the Middle East…if you are a native of Gaza, have compassion for the Israeli citizens…if you are an Israeli, have compassion for your neighbors. Each and every one is struggling and walking on this path. If they are doing something to harm you it is likely because they are living in fear or anger. Pray for them to evolve spiritually and overcome these obstacles.

People fight over ‘things’ and ‘concepts’…please remember that we are born into this world, naked with nothing…and that is exactly how we leave. The only thing we take with us is our learning.

Live well.

Learn well.

Until later…
